about

Greensleeves has been attributed to Henry VIII, the much married King of England, with speculation that the words were inspired by Katherine of Aragon or Ann Boleyn. It is known variously as "My Ladye Greensleeves" or "Ladye Greensleeves", and "What Child is This?" as well. William Shakespeare mentions this song by name twice in The Merry Wives of Windsor. It is a varient of passamezzo antico. A broadside ballad by the name "A Newe Northen Dittye of ye Ladye Greene Sleves" was registered by Richard Jones at the London Stationer's Company in September 1580.

NeoElph presents a sonic journey into the sublime places of the human psyche where the constant play of light and shadow invoke a magical, primordial and at times, a prophetical arabesque. The base elements of nature are electrified; the intonations channeled from Spirit are made audible. He composes each track not as a song, but as an adventure.
